Care Instructions
Henna & Mehndi
-
Apply a sealant solution with sugar after paste is dry - about 20 minutes. Dry henna looks matte like chocolate chips, or slightly crumbly.
-
Leave henna paste on for 4+ hours or as long as possible for a darker and longer-lasting stain.
-
Remove henna paste by rubbing off WITHOUT water. At removal henna will appear bright orange.
-
Expect stains to fully darken over the next 24 to 48 hours. Avoid water during this time.
-
Because of the difference in body chemistry, heat, and skin thickness, the stain color may vary significantly from person to person.
Jagua
-
Jagua should stay on for 2-4 hours.
-
Jagua can be peeled off or washed off with soapy water. If the gel gets wet remove it immediately as this can cause the dye to flood your skin and leave a blurry stain.
-
At removal jagua will appear green/gray/pale blue on lighter skin tones or invisible on darker skin tones.
-
Jagua stains are transferrable through skin-on-skin contact for 24 hours so avoid sleeping with your hands near your face.
